The IPHC was the first denomination to sponser a National Church Planters' School and has benefited tremendously from this very successful ministry. The school, the premier church-planting forum for the denomination, is held annually in a majoy American city. It consists of a one-week graduate module in church planting, taught by Dr. Owen Weston, on behalf of Southwestern Christian Universtiy. Presented in a five-day module, the course can be taken for graduate credit or as an audit by those who simply desire intense training in church planting. The school is higly technical in content and extremely practical in format and thrust. Click here for the 2008 Church Planter's School Brochure.
Responging to an urgent cry in the body of Christ for quality training the field of church planting, EVUSA has originated a conference setting to equip potential church planters for their mission. This 2½ day conference is actually a mini-church-planting school designed to be highly mobile and to introduce the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) to non-IPHC church planters. The seminar and materials are nondenominational in format and presentation. The event is advertised in major magazines and on local radio and TV stations in the host city. The conferences, which charge only a nominal fee, are held in large urban areas and are designed to help anyone who feels called of God to birth a new church.
